Description

I've been doing more Wings3D modeling than rendering lately, so I decided to see if I could still do a decent landscape in Bryce. I modeled the tree on the hill in POVtree, converted it using PoserRay, and imported it into Bryce and added foliage with the Treelab. Lighting done with madmax B5's Zenith lighting rig, and a few radials. I've been experimenting with using Bryce as its own "image editor", so the only postwork on this image is a slight color and contrast adjustment done in Irfanview. Thank you for looking.

Oh nice combination, the Bryce foliage really suits the tree and leaving some bare branches sticking out looks very natural. Love the scene generally - a nice peaceful spot that invites me to just want to sit under that tree and look around me awhile :)
