Thanks for viewing !! :o) -- A Leaf Beetle, Chrysolina fastuosa Bodylenght: 14 - 20 mm Very common in europe, lives in halfshaded moist places such as hedgerows and along forest paths. Not found on the islands. They dont fly. Very beautiful shimmering emerald green elytra (I admit it - didn't know that word - had to look it up :) Like the way the head and thorax is very sharply focused, while the body is mostly a fuzzy contour.
