Description

A character from a Vampire game a friend of mine ran some time ago - prince's favorite "peacekeeper" who enjoyed a completely undeserved reputation of being a psychotic maniac (But as she said herself: "In some lines of work it's better to be feared then loved") I'm still somewhat unhappy with the lights in this one - I had to trim the image to 3/4 portrait because I just could not find a way to eliminate the complete darkness the lower quarter of the render was turning into without messing up the entire thing. If anyone have an idea how it could be done please let me know. Items used: DAZ V3, Aspen face morph and texture, Handmaiden hair, Veronica Year3 & Dark Places: Alley Thank you for viewing.

I often think poser models look dead. There's never any life in their eyes, but this works to your advantage with this character. The lighting is superb too. Nice work.

The upper 3/4 is excellent! Try to view the scen from the side in an small scale, mabe ther is somthing in the way that blocks the light? Than you can add an spot in the same direction of the mainlight before the "blocker" ~Uwe

Ah the Machiavelli quote that fits Vampire so well, "It's better to be feared than to be loved." When I saw the title of the image, before I opened it, somehow I knew it was Vampire related. ;) Well done.

Really nice job here! The only thing I would change is to tone the shadow behind her down just a bit. It seems a bit too dark, and contrast-y for a night scene like this. Other than that, it's great. I especially like the light falling on her eyes.

First of all I'd like to thank all of you for the comments. Now to specifics :D Uwe - I think are right - if I remember correcly theres a fireescape/balcony comewhere next to the light-source... will check once I get home. Alrich - I'll try to lower the shadow intensyty by some 20-25% once I figure out how to fix the ovverall light issue.

I think your lighting's perfect! Her eyes are absolutely hypnotizing! The darkness in the corner help lead up to those eyes too! Fabulous work!

Good, strong dark character. An excellent background sets the scene and the lighting is very good. Well Done indeed.
