Description
The sun shines bright in the desert and air seems on fire. Nevertheless she left the cool inside of the stone temple to look out for a long awaited guest. She's a bit worried, because the guest is late and the desert is always dangerous.
This is a section of a larger scenario featuring the complete stone temple. I did this render almost a year ago, but I still like it, although I would do it differently today.
Rendered with Vue d'Esprit 4. Minor correction in postwork.

Loooks good, but lighting could be improved - shadows are pitch black - it looks unrealistic especialy on skin - try to use Vue5 radiosity or add several weak light sources simulating reflected light (the method is described on my website)
