In autumn 2005 I discovered my talent and high interest in painting tattoos for digital figures. Regarding this I want to thank Illuque/Luis Luque for his Bodypaint tutorial, it enabled me to sketch tattoo-outlines directly on the figure - and fix all the seams that you get when working with skin from photo resources. Contemporaneously with my texturing work I began to knit polygon-nets in C4D -Â Â yeah, that's it!!!

Lovely! Very creative and dramatic! Outstanding realism and POV. Only thing that bothers me is that the spheres look like reflection, but i think your intent was refraction. For instance, the large sphere has what i see as a reflection in an impossible position on the sphere, but yet the sphere doesn't look transparent to me, so i can't see it as a refraction. Do you have a real glass sphere? or can you find a real accurate model online to look at? Maybe some chromatic aberation (rainbow colors around the objects in the glass)? Or a "Fresnel" shader?

Okay, it's obvious that my comment on this image was a bit too brief ;o) The sphere works as a lens, so a virtual image is displayed. Or, some more technical: I did a simulation of glass with a refractive index of 1,5. I'm an optican in real life and it's natural that the possibilty of simulating real physic situation in a virtual world is fascinating me.
