Description

No one knows if ancient legends and myths are a product of earthbound imagination, or the echoed stories of an older race from somewhere, far away. I personally think it's more likely that human kind have risen to great heights, only to fall due to our own faults and weaknesses, leaving the mysterious objects of antiquity that we ponder over now. But, wouldn't it be nice to run across some cosmic "cousins" one day...out there? I've been applying some of the Terragen techniques I've learned here to Bryce. I think I'm beginning to get some good results. Bryce 5, Photo Shop (minor fixes and frame). Objects modelled in Bryce and 3D Max. Thanks for all your support- hope your weekend is a happy one.

I like the absence of pond scum...I would swim here. The lighting is so realistic, I was checking to see if my blinds were drawn...no kidding! Excellent portrayal of mysteries. There are no answers, only imaginations..and this piques mine. Beautiful.

Good results are absolutely not new in your works ;-) Whatever you mean? This image is very well for me cause i've a natural sympathy for the dark. Only the frame is absolutely not well for images like this, it's like framing the viewers thoughts. If you like frames, why don't try a 200 pixel solid black and our mind will become flowing like water. CU, Stefan!

I agree, there is a lot of undicovered or ignored in our history.... Great render and words! ~Uwe

Like they've already said, a very inviting, desolate scene. My only criticism is the bridge. It stops my eye from winding though and around that bend in the river. You light work is wonderful. Thanks.

Another fine scene cous. One of the gteatest mysteries; Are We Alone? It's fun to imagine the possibilities, this is the kind of image that makes you wonder. It has a certain familiarity about it that's erie. Great one Paul. Have a long and prosperous weekend too.

An image that captivates both the eyes and the deeper thoughts within, I myself believe in the ancients and the true beauty of the arcane. Your work to me sends a message of tranquil darkness but NOT evil. For the stories of our ancient pasts are many but the question is which is truth and which is the lie of men? (The ones who used fear and falsehood to rule over nations)!...Your art is excellent in both design and detail with a little bit of magick...Bravo!!!...:)

Your Terragen work is nothing short of superb. When I saw the thumbnail of this image I immediately figured this to be another Terragen work but was pleasantly suprised to see otherwise. I really love the many elements of this image that make it such a natural wonder to look at. Fantastic work my friend, this is a place I would love to travel to!
