Hi. This is Zuri. Also known in other circles as ZPenUmbra, Spookeriffic and Spooky.
Here on Renderosity I have a partial gallery of my most favorite images. A more complete gallery can be seen on DeviantArt at http://spookeriffic.deviantart.com
Art prints of a majority of my work can be purchased at http://spookeriffic.deviantart.com/store and other gift merchandise can be seen at http://www.cafepress.com/spookerifficBIOI've got a BFA in Illustration, and work professionally as a Graphic Designer for a major newspaper. A chance meeting with "Olivia" at a comic convention in 1993 set me on the path to creating pin-up artwork, a dream finally realized when I started using Poser last year. My addiction to vinyl and platform shoes fuels my constant addiction to Poser and Photoshop Pin-up art.
WATERMARKING
Yes, as of 2005 I have begun to watermark my images. Why? For a number of reasons. A good number of artists both on Renderosity, DeviantArt, and the web in general - some good friends of mine - have gotten their art 'ripped' in one way or another. DeviantArt has been pushing a watermarking movement on their site, and I will be carrying it over to the images I post here (since they are in fact the same images). An artist needs to be pro-active in protecting their rights and the rights of their work. The watermarks are not there to disrupt your ability to view the image - and I'd love to not have them there - but for the time being it's a necessary evil.

Opened the page and I thought Great image till I scrolled down and saw the writing. I understand why some people feel that putting the information across the figure is important. At the same time I find it very distracting! I might get in trouble for this, but here goes anyway. If you are so worried about some one stealing your stuff and posting else where, then don't post it! Sorry but the copywrite stuff is really really annoying! I have few images here and lots lots more on other sites just so you won't think that I don't understand about theft...

If you don't like the copyright information - don't look at or comment on the work! The stuff is marked because a) I sell prints of my work and b) a portion of my work goes into print publications. I began posting on Renderosity to help promote the products that I purchase here and support the great merchants and their products. If you can't look past a copyright, then don't waste your time in my gallery. Thanks and have a nice day.

Excellent work!

Great character, really. Love the outfit, the colors, the body shape. She is truly a work of art!! I must say that I understand both Butch's point of view and your own. It stinks that you have to worry about copyright in the first place, but in todays day and age, I guess you have to. And since you sell prints, it is more needed than for someone like me that does this stuff as a hobby. Atleast your copyright mark is not as intrusive as some I've seen. Now back to your character...let me just say WoW again. :) Can't wait to see 'vine' and an image showing how the 'intersect'. :)

Nevermore
As I said else where this is a great image, if people can't see past a simple and unobtrusive signature/watermark then perhaps they shouldn't be looking at the galleries. Meantime I look forward to seeing more of your work, Aiko really does look different like this. :o)
