Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you. — NIV Exodus 20:12 (fifth commandment according to Heidelbergian Catechism) Taking shots is fun, but not for mum! So she walks a bit in advance of me and I get the opportunity to shoot her with telelens while she's taking a rest and enjoying the vista over the lake. That's such a sweet gesture! Has she seen this on here? Tell her I empathise with her - I know what it's like when the person you're walking with keeps suddenly stopping and setting up the equipment just to take a shot you haven't even noticed was there for the taking! lol! (But the outcome is usually well worth it!!!)

I can't think of a better tribute to your Mom and what a pretty setting too. My own Mother passed away 8 years ago and now it is too late to take her photo-take lots of pictures of your Mom Jan-Carel, candids are the best.
