Description

Taken with my old camera - my kodac 330 ..This is of Chrissy last night in Venice beach Calfornia... I had just bought her this red-orange pail and was in shock that it cost 6 dollers.(.but the nice store lady said it was a good quality not cheap like at the 99 cents stores) lol... SO- last night was fun ~! OH I took so many personality shots..._~! (kids think i am crazier now than ever - caught a couple making out in the sand - LOL) After having a very spiritual experiance in a big beach circle in the sand of drummers creshendo-ing and dancers whirling and spinning, I had noticed the sun was about to go down and knew that light is best then so I looked up and smiled then ran hard to the waters edge... and it got so beautiful ..got the light I wanted,..squatted down, AND then something happened!. HAHA Chrissy didn't care about my picture, or about the lighting, or the sunset- she only knew that there were shells THAT HAD TO be found.. SO when I had the perfect shot JUST right -I peek through the lens ...sigh there she is ...in the middle of my picture!! I thought oh well there goes that one and shot anyway. When I got home I looked at all my shots and LOVED this the most... hehe . Isn't photography a funny thing? You are trying for something ... then something else just "happens" and sometimes that something is the best!... I love this shot so much and now feel bad that I didnt want her in it ... just that she has a way of getting in...haha!!.. Anyways, went down to get my camera last night in Venice This camera store had a Mothers Day special for Moms - and so bought a Nikon 7900 on sale with no tax and a free Epson printer and trypod all for $399- yaay YIPPEE ( you probally wont see it for a while cause I have like a hundred shots taken with my old to put up.. - was a bit dissapointed that I couldn't just stick the batterys in that it had to be re-charged and so had to use my old cam..i think its a good thing - just couldnt use it last night. I know I said I would get around to the Vagas shots but nothing I plan works out - lol I am the most spontanious person you can imagine ..oh yes on that note - almost all of my photography is not posed or planned- its like everything in my life it just happens...I never plan it cause it will happen anyway I feel ... LOL _"life is what happens when your planning something else..." uhm . LOL I like the unexpected like it that way :O) Have a great evening or day whatever it there..! will try and catch up with comments later my daughter Nell is sick and I have five hamster cages to clean out.. (hamster hell continues) ... LOL love ya all~~~!!! Kimmers~! ♥

You are a true artist who follows her heart wherever it takes you.:o) And I really enjoy traveling on your unexpected journey of surprises. You capture magic - this shot is very special - not only in the beauty of nature, but also the wonder of finding surprises and treasures on the beach. Brings back wonderful childhood memories. Lovely work and words, too,. V. :o) CC
