Hi everyone!I hope you're not thinking me too wicked for snapping this shot but I couldn't help myself! There I was amidst these elegant,serene gardens...photographing this beautiful teahouse,(which I will also upload soon),and just as I frame my shot of its entrance, these two walk out. I couldn't help myself.If you think they look funny in B&W you should see the full frame in color! I decided to decapitate them to protect the innocent, although I doubt these two gave our poor eyes a thought when they dressed that morning...Hope you share my sick sense of humor and find 'americanus touristimustensis' a very unique and entertaining species! While I'm here I'd really like to thank those of you who took the trouble to comment on my pic,'The Red Hat', this weekend in the 2D gallery.Your comments made me so happy!It is always encouraging to hear such positive things! ROTFLMAO!!!!!! I JUST LOVE THIS SHOT!!!!! Having seen the coloured version, i will have to agree with you...you sure did them a favour, LOL. MY GOD, LOOK AT THOSE KNEES!!!! Cracks me up every time!!!! And aint it cute how she has white socks and white shoes, and he has black socks and black shoes....and honestly...CAN HE PULL HIS PANTS UP ANY HIGHER????? LMAO!!!! love the contrast between thier two sox and shoes.. and lol what if they came on here and saw this .. lol i think its funny .. there you were taking these beautiful shots and .. awee she probally loved flowers i see both side of the coin - ( a libra) and am gigggling... and think you have a great sece of humor and are allot of fun~ ... big smile thanks for the smile as i just rolled outta bed- will start my day off good!!

Marlene, to have catured two such oddities in such a beautiful and tranquil garden such as Morikami is a triumph. These two stand at the entrance to this quiet Japanese retreat and have no clue that like the flowers and plants around them they too are the subject of your lens. Excellent choice in black and white. Keep up the wonderful work. Hugs!!!
