Wonderful XD tubes. Great composition. Now that 'psion005' mentions the lack of a shadow, I think that a shadow would make it more realistic.

Well there is some shadow, at the corner where it actually touches the table. It looks like the rest is just in the air. Which is unlikely because the centre of gravity seems to be on the other side. Enough criticism: I'm amazed at what you did with it: even green and brown reflections in the..eh..thing. And the shape is wonderful. Very well done!

Well it's just what mountmous said. The other parts are in the air and i wanted it to be unlikely. As the whole object already lies in a shadow it doesn't produce a strong one. The great thing of rendering programs in my opinion is that you can design things which are impossible to realize in reality. Kind regards, Thomas

Shadow or not, it is a very fotorealistic image of a fractal. Superb quality, I like it a lot! V

For me the fact that this weird and wonderful thingy is balanced unnaturally, and set against the very realistic background (wow, a weathered deck, just like mine!) gives it a tension (anticipation?), which makes it even more weird and wonderful. Super job.

This would be amazing to build and then hang from a tree branch! Astonishing sense of reality.

Unique and interesting design! Superb color combination and lighting, they are perfect and highlight your work showing off the details of your image.
