Appears to me just a simple dandelion! Those flowers appear on elevated location, and it's remarkable to learn how tough these flowers are! Great find, fantastic shot!

This yellow flower is not native to this area of Mauna Kea. It was probably left at the shrine and later grew when the snow melted away.
