Description
I finally decided to break down and try doing a model in C4 entirely. I'm still not sure I like the modeler but it did come out a lot better. Due to the amount o detail in this model, and the high resolution I like to render in (1600x1200 300DPI); this render took over a week for one frame. I guess its all of the reflective and semi transparent objects, not to mention close to 50 lighting sources. In any event I think it was worth the time. So here is the final version of the Sparrow Class Corvette done entirely in C4, no postwork other than a resize in PSP 9. Let me know what you think.

Thanks, I tried to put in as much detail as possible, the flytube (clear glass section), the fighter launch tubes, ships markings etc.

This has got to be the best of your corvett series the design is superb and the skinning is also great. I think that the see thru glass adds to the look and functionability to the craft! All in all Excellent job!

Thanks. I am thinking of doing dome older designs next. Maybe a starport scene if I can get C4 terrains to cooperate. The ship should have had a 3d aura around the gun crstals and engine crystals, but it always me a memory allocation error. I think my poor old box just cant handle it.
