Description

Thought I might finish off the 'hammer' theme with a shot of one in its working environment!
This was taken on the casting floor of a blast furnace in a Duisberg (Germany) recycling plant. They had just finished re-lining the casting area and were drying it out by burning pallets.
I just liked the effect of the flames and the hammer ... but maybe thats me! 8-)
[Note: its' a bit grainy and soft as I've scanned it from a print]

right! very effectful glow in the fire! it adds a special mood to the scene! impressive composition with the hammer! is it in Duisburg? not far from me! ;o)
