Description

For Cyn cause your creative approach has inspired me and "Swept me AWAY" into new art....! Taken with my new Nikon 7900 - (havn't read the manual yet so learning how to use it it has a bit of a delay that i am not use to and frusterating,. ) SO This swooping Owl is much more sharper in the original image but i wanted to enhance the movement.. ( this week I am trying a for movement as I have recently been inspired from movement shots in a book I just got -BBC wildlife photgrapher of the year -which has a few animal shots in movement that are powerful) ..anyways, this was done in photoshop- PSP7 ,and Psp9 today -Smudged the end of the wings as my cam had clipped them in my think fast and shoot shot- lol so this one took me nearly all afternoon to get the effect I wanted that went beyond the shot. This morn -Dropped off my kids from school ..traffic happened. They were shooting a movie by my house , so I took shortcut-drive from the insanity.....(Ihate traffic) and turned- and ended up in a beautiful Canyon area -very famous Placeritia Canyon (CA ) right next to the Disney Ranch studios- ( where little house on the Prarie and Dr Quinn were filmed- a few miles from where I live...IT is an old western type canyon.. and it was so beautiful I stopped TO smell the roses so to speak ..I looked up and saw this Owl.. TOok a few awesome shots of this noctornal bird that was out and about - I WAS SUPrISED!! I was even more surprised when it swooped down toward me ... and THIs is what i saw ..and "CLICK" - it was a lucky break and I had to think fast- I somehow managed to dig my new cam out of my purse and get it ..( brought my new cam to take test shots of nearby roses-but then this unexpexted cool OWL caame along.. :O) ) THIs is For Cynlee... Thank you for showing me how photography is such a wonderous fun artform !!...I used to just take pics of my kids and then smugde them .. and then I cam on Ren ..seeing what you -and a few others did inspired me -differant people inspired me in differant ways - haha _LOL_ i think of the picture of you spun out in an old laundry mat dryer and it captivates me ..( even went out bought photoshop today and now I am broke after a new comp- printer, photoshop and new camera-LOL) SO this is one of my first pictures w/ my new cam - and it is special..as you are cyn...so I wanted to dedicated it to you today to say thanks- love ya all~! ~Kimmers! ♥ !
