Very nice design, and quite well thought out. The only questionable thing is elivators in the spokes...probably overkill for such a short distance. A ladder would do, as after a short distance the simulated gravitys effect on you would change change. (as well as outwards you would be pushd against one side of the spoke no?) Should make getting to the center fairly easy.

You have set a high bar. I hope someday to meet and exceed this great work.
Oshio
nicely done, looks very insectlike

Bravo! I admire the design a lot and your slick and clean execution is really something that brings it all together very well. My only whine would be more greebling... but that would really affect the slick factor.
Askguden
I agree with Moe, more little nurnies and stuff would be nice, but you could still keep the sleekness by adding detail only to certain sections, like sensor arrays and stuff.

Thanks for the comments all, DarkFlame, elevators cover almost 90 meters as well as assure no one gets cut in half traveling thru the spoke/hub window which is constantly opening & closing, as for being pushed against the side..maybe during heavy periods of acceleration & braking, good point. (making notes for next ship) Oshio, yeah Insects always seem to sneak into my designs.. wonder what that means? Moe, more greebling, got it, thanks. Askguden, more nurnies, got it thanks.

I like it. Great job. It does look at little retro, with its smoothness, but also very cool (Sky cap-like). More greebling, strategically placed only, to not ruin the old strato-fortress bomber effect. Actually, I know you know this, unless the vessel enters any atmosphere, all of this smoothness would be technically unnecessary - but it sure looks great.
