Siena by Day
...another picture on the way from Florence to Siena...
and this is the last - at least of this series... there probably will be more... but just "as regular postings".... ;)
Siena: it's again the Torre del Mangia - i just loved that place...
oh well - it was an Kodak 400 ISO film
and NO postwork... just scanned negative...

I really like the POV and the frame here but the pic is clearly overexposed and all the details are lost in the highlights. Unfortunately, once the details are lost, u can't recover them! I think a levels adjustement would make it a 'lil better, more contrasted! Just my 7 pennies worth! ;)

Great shot! I am really enjoying your architectural photo series. This one set in Siena is especially interesting; I have recently taken a class on Italian Medieval architecture. Again, the capture is nice.
