My name is Benny and I was born back in 1973.
I've always been fond off art, But until recently not more then a hobby, today I do some freelance photography. If you ever need a photographer just let me know.
Besides photo I try to develop my drawing skills. I did get some formal training at the university, but even if it helped it feels like the best and biggest skill increasement came when I actully started to use my eye´s and looked at what I draw. Before I hade some strange idea that you weren´t a skilled artist if you couldn´t draw from your imagination. Today I think that it is the final image that is what matters and not how it was created.
I do cheat in other mediums too. I did some sculptural artworks in metals, clay and even snow at one point but due to change of living conditions I can´t find the space for that anymore.
I have had both good and bad responses about my art, but as I creat for my own enjoyment and cannot create for everyone to like I guess the price for sharing your efforts. I got a good advise from a friend here at the site a few years back. He said as a answer to a remark from me about his high output of good images, -- it´s not how even you are at creating, it is all about what you choose to display.Â
I hope you enjoy my images, and don´t hesitate to write if you wonder anything or just want to say hey.
All the best.
Benny

Excellent!!! You are so right B, most folks will pass them by. But oddly enough we forget that these folks many were housewives, mothers, fathers and even defenders of our country. Yes they do have a colorful past, and your depicting it this way makes that statement. Just a perfect picture and a huge vote...

Shipwrecked and spit out by a society that can only see succes measured in $$$, yet a brother to everyone of us. Except perhaps to those whose faith is so ironhard that they can only see their own salvation. A shame, a spat on the big Dream, and that whilst billions are used to go and defend that "dream" in a country far away... Look at yourselves. And give thanks to the Lord that you have a roof above your heads, food to eat and a fire to keep you warm. Life's a supermarket: take whatever you wish, but you'll pay when you've come to the end of the visit.

You never seize to amaze me. This brings tears to my eyes .. you are a real sweetheart. Giving this beautiful human being color -- and turning the world around him colorless .. wow. I can't explain what this does to me. BIG HUG!!!!!

great work, its really a cruel egocentric world, cause most people ostracize guys like him. When i saw 2 guys like him yesterday in my town, i talked to them and we really had alot of fun for half an hours:) In my opinion such guys have much more character than all the other distancing themselfs from them.V

Great shot, great message, great comment! I guess he is blessed at this specific time...people are running fast on the street..hurry to do something that might be done, but HE is there , now, in this present time moment..he enjoys the sun warmth...as he knows what is coldness ;-) Thank's for showing what people prefer to hide in their cities...the difference !

Nice Coloration! You want to know something sad? In the US some very rich people try to ACT poor so they can get money, they make off with about 50 dollars a day that people give them... it's not fair really. Excellent shot!
