Hi, I am a student from the UK currently in the first year of a Postgraduate Diploma In Architecture.
I'm interested in all 3D work and photography. I use Cinema4D for all my uni work, although I have only ever posted the one image at RR.
More recently photography has taken over and I love taking photos of all sorts of things. I don't have any specific 'series; of photos, just post the ones I like best.BIOCurrent Equipment:
Nikon D70
18-70mm AF-S DX Nikkor Lens
70-300mmG Lens
Remote Shutter Release
Fujifilm 40i 3.1mp Compact Digital Camera
and a pretty standard tripod.

A splendid ediface, very well shot. Great presentation too! I really like the inset statues near the roof. The time of day you shot this cast some nice shadows too!

Gorgeous capture!!! Wow, that is one high quality pic!!! INCREDIBLE!!!! Just one thing....it looks slighty tilted to the left...no more than a few degrees....can be my laptop that is sliding off my leg as well, lol. WOW, hate to clean those windows!!!! Have a great day #:O)

Thanks, I think you are right about the tilt. It wasn't straight originally and I think I rotated it too far. I'll live with it for now, maybe re-post at a later date. Cheers all :)

Montacute is an Elizabethan House in Somerset. It is now owned by the National Trust. It is one of the best examples of Elizabethan architecture still existing. Used huge amounts of glass which was unprecedented at the time. http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/hbcache/property309.htm Not sure how to do links so it's a cut and paste job. I have been to pretty much all of the National Trust properties and gardens in the South West UK. They make easy subjects I suppose :)

Wonderful interesting architecture ! Thanks for sharing ! Tilting often comes through wide angle lenses too (there is a term describing this effect, but dunno how it's called in english)
