Description

This was an illustration for Australia's federal budget, published in the newspaper I work for.You may not know him, but he's Peter Costello, the treasurer, and has been performing a little below par lately- but desperately wants the prime ministers job! I had approx 40 hours to do this, from rough sketch to 3 different posed renders-quite scary! all textures and hair done in photoshop -no time for UV unwrapping. thanks for looking! johnshakespeare.com.au

I'm amazed at how well you have captured the likeness of Costello. It is absolutely superb. For the benefit of the non-Aussies who read Skipychic's comment, Tony Abbott is another minister in government being branded as having deputy-leader potential. So an Abbott/Costello team is a real possibility. Groan... Only in Australia. Wonderful work, Shakes. I love it

This is a fantastic piece of work mate, even more so for the fact that you didn't have a great deal of time to turn it out. Is that John Howard on the newspaper? Top work.
