Description

I waited a long time hoping this guy would land on a more natural perch and in a place with some BG interest. I had to take the shot he was willing to give up to me...for this time. Comments Welcome!

We have Wood Thrushes in our neck of the woods..but tails are shorter as best I can tell and beaks shorter, too. I wonder what this bird is. Wonderful image. If you don't mind, please IM me with the shot info such as lens, camera, settings? If not, that is just fine and I will simply enjoy this excellent image. TomDart.

This great looking fellow, looks like a "Flicker" to me! I'm pretty sure,but I could be wrong! Anyway !
