Description
I was pretty far away and, of course, no tripod with me. This is the best shot I could get hand holding my 400mm lense. This turkey was not liking me watching him do his mating strut. Maybe next time I will have my tripod for a sharper image. Comments Welcome!

To be far away you got a good shot I see about 24 or 25 of these everyday on this lil country road here in Ky...they aren't beautiful by any means but they sure make a good meal:) Nice to meet ya and hope you come visit me Excellent capture & Vote Susan~

Still, this is a great picture ... we had a wild turkey roaming in our woods for a few years; I wonder what happened to him. This picture makes me think of him again ............ :))))
