Description

This is TG version of the previous post. I used the same terrain and POV, however here, everything is TG made. Only postwork was levels and light bloom on the mountain peaks. Pokhara is a small city north west from Kathmandu, Nepal. It's famous for its wonderful lakes and mountain peaks. Thanks for viewing and comments on my previous post 'Above The Horizion II'.

Ah that is so nice! I spent the best christmas of my entire life at Pokhara back in 1986. Apart from the excellent food and the incredibly jolly Tibetan refugees, one of my strongest memories is of this incredible wall of mountains which you have captured so well here. I'm from the South Island of New Zealand so I'm no stranger to big mountains but this is possibly the most majestic view of the Himalaya from anywhere. Well done and thanks for the memory trip!

Thats the kind of render i always wanted to do, wow. Like it even more than the pw-version, perfect balanced coloring and shadows, excellent depth and scale. The surface of the snowy parts but even more the vegetations of the mid-mountains are impressive tg-work. Only thing what disturbs me a bit is that the shape of mid-mountains are a bit angularly (round up in pw?). Nevertheless it gets my vote + fav, one of your best work so far imho.
