Description


This image came about by accident. I made a city scape using an eco mat and then added the falling snow effects. Next I rendered it as an HDR image just for kicks. Created a new scene and used the HDR image I just created as an atmo. Added a terrain to look like a frozen river, added more snow effects and it came out like this!!! I had to post it because it looks so cool!!! Almost like the snow is coming right at you. Hope you enjoy it!!! Jim

You're right, the effect is exactly the one you get when driving in a heavy snow fall. (the ice is less convincing imho..) Very interesting and... yes it IS cool :))!

This is very cool...and cold-looking! When I used to drive in the snow in Germany, it was often just like this; excellent effects, great job!

I do like the look of the snow flying at you through the air. This looks like a traditional long exposure zoom-blur done with a camera.
