Description

this is the 30 hour monster that didnt place in the daz calendar this year. poser 4, vue 4. michael with armor by roshigoth, enzo's braveheart hair, daz charger and fantasy tack, daz eagle with eagle expansion pack 1. oh, and daz buck. yes, its in there! after coming up with this image (and being away from my computer so many days while it rendered), i tried to think of a story or something to go with it... it really didnt have one, it was just an image. but once i came up with a title, i thought up two prequels to it, thus this is #3. bloodsong's gallery

That's nice. Are all those trees actual vue tress? No clever stamp/cut & paste trick. What was your poly count? Must have been huge. Beautiful.

So these are the kind of results I miss out on by not doing 36-hour renders...sigh. This is excellent work, beautiful lighting, good balance between realism and fantastical. Great colors and good use of detail.

WOW!!! This is amazing...and it didnt end up in the calendar??? It SHOULD have!! I can even make out the buck in the lower left part of the image :) I think you have done an amazing job Blood!!!

Fabulous image. The depth of the landscape is impressive. As for the calendar, don't worry and try again next year. That is what I am going to do after my none of 3 entries were selected :)
