I know exactly what you mean! I drive by this one area of rocks everyday and slow down. I've taken at least a hundred shots and nothing ever seems special enough for feelings it brings out, but I'm hopeful one day it will just POP! That is a really cool tree, I think I would have tried to tone down the trees on either side to try to make it stand out more. Speaking of standing out.....my latest is for you, cuz it stood out!!!!
