Tearing up the Constitution is far too high a price. And silly people are saying "Well it's only a 'little' invasion of my privacy" forgetting that those "little" invasions soon become huge. Personally I'd never trade my "freedom" for some safety which cannot really be "guaranteed" by the politicians anyway.
