Description


Finished the modeling of this Victorian library environment for the animation project of my friend. Only the books are missing here, but those can follow later on. Anyone care to guess how many volumes can fit on these shelves? Special thanks to pentamiter_beastmete for the tips on the ambient occlusion plug-in. Thank you all very much for taking the time to visit my gallery and view this image.

Very classical indeed. I could picture sitting at that bay window reading 2000AD, erm I mean Darwin. Very nice attention to detail Moe, as always.

Oh yeah Moe! This is nicer! The details are popping much better! Love the bay window! Well, assuming the wall we cannot see is all bookshelves, I'd say we could fit 5482 tomes in here! ;-)

Thank you all very much for your encouragement, feedback and support. I did a quick calculation and the total capacity of this library is approximately 3,840 books (give or take a hundred tomes)... the middle section of one wall has a space for a mirror or a painting, so less shelves.

getting closer. well.. between 2500 to 3000 volumes.. if you put extra shelves at the center 3500 more or less. cant wait the final image!! :) excellent work Moe!
