This young lady with the blue dress told me she was a photographer ...I asked her if I could take a photo of her and she agreed.She agreed also to pose with me for another photo but when she saw that my husband (a man!) would take this photo she disappeared !!! Photo taken at Damascus. Syria.

very super. they costoms is diff that yours. You can take a photo of the women and your hustan can take a photo of the men but not the other way. I think anyway lol

Excellent double portrait. You obviously have the knack of making people feel very at ease with you. These two are not posed in anyway. I also like the geometric shapes in this. Enjoying this series very much.

Superbe photo et toignage. J'ai beaucoup de mal respecter la tradition pour ce je conside comme une atteinte la dignitde la femme qui me semble en danger. Je ne suis pas contre le voile, mais il faut que ce soit un choix libre.(Ce que je ne suis pas sure en Syrie et me en France).

What a FABULOUS portrait, Mary!!! Their eyes capture my attention and draw me in! the photographer has a huge smile..the other perhaps is a bit cautious. it would be neat to take a day and spend with them taking pictures!!!!!!! Wonderful capture, Mary!
