Description

This image here is the first time i have ever tried to add in a real world sky into a terragen render. I think it came off so so. I got the mask right i think, to the point where there isnt a white line where the landscape and the sky meets, but i dont think i got them looking like they belong together. Also something i was working on is the grass surface, which i think i am finally beginning to look right. I would like to try to do more of these types of images where i take something and try to merge it in with photoshop, so i will be starting a subsequent thread as well. So if you have any advice or tips please post them there. The terrain is shannon.. And the rock surface is one of Rids. I just did the grass for now. Thanks for looking and commenting

It seems as if you might be in a crater or something, as the horizon is very sharp. The grass and foreground are great, and the atmospherics give it a very eerie look.

Great pov and surfaces, the postwork looks ok to me. What I would suggest to improve the depth is to differenciate the forground to the background. Maybe up the contrast near the forground and fade it away towards the back. Great work though.

I think your cloudscape is brilliant, I'll have to give it a try myself. Terrain is very good too, standing at 12 foot, 4mtrs away it looks like a propper photo.Well Done!!

I like where you are going with this, and maybe I am missing something (so forgive me) but even the foreground appears quite out of focus. From what I can see, it looks like you have got it on the first try!
