Nice try here. I want to point out a couple of small things to help you out. Since the weapon is featured prominently, you need to find a more detailed model. The one you are using here is very unrealistic. Try the free model archive at DAZ3D. They used to have some very realistic freebies there. The other thing is the uniform could use some bump mapping to simulate seams and other fabric details. Keep up the good work, war pictures are tough to pull off.
