Description
As the winner of last month's Terrain Challenge, I have the honor of providing the terrain file for June.
This is a sample of one point of view. I think it has many more.
Some bare facts about this image: It's a 513 terrain. There are only 3 surface layers. I created the world file just before I rendered this, adjusting only a few of the "out-of-the-box" settings. Render time was 25 minutes for a 1280 X 960 image. Only postwork was resizing, sharpening, enhance detail and contrast / brightness adjust.
Congratulations to the top three placers (MJK, miden1138 & AndyWelder) in this month's Terrain Challenge!

Vey cool texture, salt crust I think. If it had been yellowish, it could have been sulpha...;)

Nice surfaces for only three layers! To think I spent 4 hours today creating 13!

Dang those slugs are bad! Look at the tracks!! Lovely surfacing - love the subtleness of the layers.

Very effective minimalist surfacing enhanced by the low altitude sun/lighting. Excellent work.

I like this terrain and POV very much Rich. Your surface for only three layers is phenomenal (Did I spell that right?)especially the forefront.. you are a Master at this, I must say. Can we see more of the terrain from diff POV's from you?

Outstanding work for a 513 terrain. Too many of us forget to use them. This is top-notch Terragen work!
