Description

Oil on canvas, 12 X 16 inches. The painting " To Skye " is one that I painted for my son soon after he was born. I named him Donovan Skye. Skye is an island off of Scotland. Having never been there or seen it, I have read that it is an island full of mystery and ancient lore of the Celts. "To Skye " is a fantasy painting, something of a dream of what a journey to such an enchanted Scottish Isle might be like through the eyes of a child like Donovan Skye.
