Description

So.. This is a chainmaille coif I made today. Alot of polys ;-D 254 polys per ring, and about 4500 rings. You see, I'm a professional mailler, so I though it'd be fitting to make one of these babies in 3D aswell. I would love to know how to make it react so that you could animate it, or something like that, but it's a bit overkill for me right now, I think. Very simple render,, let me know what you think. Incredible! As a member of the SCA (medieval enthusiast) I can say this is a very accurate rendition of chain. Well done, particularly on the texturing.

Awesome modelling, so you make these heh? very kool, I have a couple of fantasy sword's, but I would kill for a suit of Chain-mail & Armour plate's...wow top stuff!!!Cheer's jif3d
