Hello and welcome :D
Sorry for the crappy photo, but since I usually am the one taking them, there aren't many of me. That look is one of sheer terror (deep water phobia LOL). It was taken near Marblehead Lighthouse on Lake Erie about an hour away from where I live.
Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day :)BIOI am a 40something CG hobbyist that began during learning how to make a website. First computer was purchased 11 years ago which evolved into learning how to build them. I enjoy a variety of other hobbies as well (knitting, quilt making, etc). Learning how to make jewelry is on the horizon. Typical Gemini :D Still getting used to "empty nest syndrome". Oldest son graduated this spring from college with a degree in Physics and going on to grad school for Materials Science Engineering. Youngest son will be in third year for Information Technology.
Constructive criticism or suggestions are always welcome in my gallery or IM. Honest feedback helps us try new things. Always learning is a good thing :) Questions are welcome too, I love to help if I can :D

Sad, but extremely POWERFUL image. This ough win that contest. Sorry to hear about your son, but with love and confidence, people amaze doctors. I must say I am happy to hear your son was able to prove em doctors wrong, and I know U are happy for it too. This is truly a powerful image. Many children out there have disabilities, and this by far can reach into anyone's heart and show support for them all. This is by far the most powerful image I seen. Very nice dedication. U are indeed a heartfull man.

Dear Nancy, I am so sorry and so ashamed I am this far behind on visiting friends galleries. I have been so swamped with everything. The get well card slowed me down a lot. I have answered over 5000 IMs. Im so proud of our community! So many wonderful caring people! But it has left me terribly far behind on everything. Ive got 1500 e-bot notices Im trying to work through. Im going to visit all the current ones as quickly as possible and then work on the backlog as time permits. It will take me a while, but I will eventually catch up and will in time visit everyones postings. Until I can get caught up, Im gonna spend my gallery visiting time looking and enjoying and try not to type as much as I usually do. I hope everyone understands that I am running as fast as I can. This is so beautiful and so touching!!! And you really open your heart with both your words and your picture! You and your son are both very special people! Good luck with the contest and best of luck to you and your family in everything!! Excellent work!! Love, Meredith

Such an extraordinary moment you captured. You can feel the very special bond between them - just look at the smile on the Mother! Your own trials have added to the emotion of this piece making it all the more real. Wonderful, wonderful work!
