Description

I took this image a while ago, and today i was playing with photoshop and this is how the image turned out. I thought the original color image was rather dull and tried to improve it like this. Let me hear your thoughts about this image what would you do to improve it? THanx for viewing commenting.

If you say the picture was dull in colour, then this is not only an improvement but one that is exceptional. Photography is all about the quality of light, texture and composition. Subject matter is a little less important. I especially love the way the fruits are displyed and graced by the light, but in particular the lower leave with its textures that would have been lost in colour because of the lack in contrast. I would like to know if the colour of this duo-tone is your selection or that of a plug-in? Only a matter of curiousity and it does not distract from the image quality. This is truely a 'FINE ART" photograph in every aspect of the word!

i do like the feel & look of it very much... kind of abstract... only thing is the bar at the top i find a bit distracting :]

What a wonderful wonderful image, no surprise that everybody loves the tones in this image, it is some of the best i have seen here. But there is room for improvement in this image. Get rid of the metal bar on the right and you have an absolute winner.

This shot is just incredible. I've now seen it on two computers, and each moniter displayed it stunningly, although the mood differed greatly. The moniter on which I view it now is set up normally, and seems to be pretty much the norm. The moniter on which I viewed it earlier tends to show everything much darker. It is set up so that the moniter will match the colors of the printouts. I recomend that you take a look at a darkened version of this picture. The quality of light changes, and giving a much darker mood, however the bananas themselves gain an unearthly and exhilerating glow, which is elegant and marvelous. The image on this moniter is delicate and beautiful, and not a speck worse than the image I first viewed. The reaction it gives however is radically different. Very interesting phenomenon. Thank you so much for this ethereal and awe-inspiring shot.

I love the manipulation you've done on this image! It definately gives it an "alien" feel to a typically bland looking plant. Great work!
