The Shinyary are a reality-bending race in a home-made Role-Playing Game I made once upon a time. The game was too complicated to work out. Liked the name, though.
I started programming computer games when I was about 11 or 12 years old, and got involved with Paint Shop Pro, Bryce, and Poser to make graphics for my games. Eventually I just transitioned into more "pure" art.BIOThe intro pretty much says it all. I am completely self-taught, everything I know being from tutorials on the internet, but mostly just stuff I figured out myself. I have never taken a formal art class.
Interestingly, although I began art as a means for computer game programming, I have never finished any large computer game that took more than a few days to create. I have, however, finished several large art projects.

You got my vote on just the subject matter alone even without the outstanding render. This inspires me to attempt a piece of my own someday when my talents improve. Sadly too late for abandoned challange and sadly too early in my capabilities, but some day I'll do one honoring my friends who served on the USS Pueblo and were abandoned to captivity for 181 days.

Thumbs up to this my friend. Lets not forget Grenada and many other unannounced incursions ... and now Iraq ... where the daily slaughter includes anyone, any sex, age or personal beliefs. Bring 'em home - and God bless those already feet first. :-(

Very moving picture. The atmosphere is dark and gloomy just like war is dark and gloomy. You really out-did yourself with the building textures. Excellent picture.
