For me it's more like haunted wood or maybe mysterious wood, but any way you look at it, it's a great shot. The mist gives it a great quality that really draws you in. Great work!!!

I love the forest early in the morning when the mist still lingers among the trees. Even the late afternoon is magical as the setting sunlight softly filters through the tree branches. I see that someone has bee cuting and thinning out the trees as there is firewood stacked all along the path. Thank you for sharing.

You call this "melancholic"? It's the Blair Witch Project! :) A spot without a path or sawed-off tree-trunks would have been even better. Great job, though.
