Description
First model.created with maya rendered with mentalray....using the digital tutors tutorials..
hardest part was creating the shaders and tweaking
the hdr final gather....as the digital tutors vid was very basic when it came to mental ray....

Excellent stuff, especially for your first model, very well done...i have always wanted to be able to use maya as good as this...one of my friends has it and i tell you, i am hopeless...the best i could render was a sphere lol This looks a great deal better than what i could ever do, well done..keep up the great modelling :-)

I like the lighting and the Eclipse's main paint texture. The model itself needs some work, keep at it. Not as smooth and some discrepencies with a real Eclipse. Also, the tires? Spend a day and model some nice tire treads and textures, it will help a great deal! But it's a great scene, my friend... Good work.
