It should be noted that this structure has been around for a number of years and that it has survived politics and the elements, but also from being tagged by graffiti artist. This structure willbe around much longer than most modern buildings will ever be. In the US, most city structures over 20 years are replaced and this not only keeps the skyline changing in major cities, it keeps pace with the changing face of population growth while at the expense of loss of history and identity for future generations.

this castle was built by the Crusaders after the fall of Jeruselam in 1099ad. an exceptionally good photo.
