Description

'Alone in the Dark' ------------------------ The story: In 1965 two young girls were playing on the top floor of 'Hamilton House'. It had been abandoned for eighteen years following the death of old man Hamilton and had become very decayed and dangerous. Playfully, one of the girls pushed the other and the floor beneath her gave way and she fell to her death. A police officer found her crumpled body still clutching her teddybear; he never recovered from the shock of that scene and retired from the force shortly afterwards. The surviving child was taken away, never to return but once a year, on the aniversary of that terrible day the ghost of the dead child walks the grounds looking for her companion so that they can play again. ________________________________________________ Vue 5 Inf, Poser 6 and Photoshop. Nice! Like the symmetry and the looming house. And this is one time where a lot of detail-missing black space works okay. Like the levels of depth from the fog too. Good use of text and image together.

The image fits the story well. That makes the image all the more disturbing. Pardon the pun, but it does make for a very "haunting" image. Excellent work.

Different, Same, New, Old - - - doesn't matter with you, Tony - they are all great. I love it! I could stand to see a bit more of the house (looks to me like I'm getting compression artifacts - ack) - but that's just me. The blue tones and lighting are superb. And the story really adds to this image - great job on that too!! Overall I give it an excellent rating and a VOTE. Keep em coming!!!

Great illustrated story! I like it as is but was wondering what it might look like if the little girl was slightly transparent? Still mighty fine work!
