Description

~*~ Nobility ~*~ One of the noblest creatures on our planet is the horse. Such magnificence such beauty. Sometimes I wonder, where that 'look' they bear comes from. Their noble hearts, their free spirits, perhaps all of the above. And perhaps if humans were more noble of spirit and heart, there would be no need to check 'bloodlines'. :) Food for thought today. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I just got two new books on horses, no I dont own one, wish like heck I did, but barring that or barring living on a ranch or out west, those huge books on horses are my closest links to these magnificent creatures. The model for this was a Lippanzaner. And oh my was he magnificent. Graphite on Bristol. Pencils used: B, 2B and 7B. Scanned, did a bit of smudging with the chalk brush. Changed the hue a bit, some histriogram adjusting and this is the result. I tried hard to keep him as white as possible. Enjoy and tons of thanks to all of you for you (yes this is true) inspire me to work all the harder. Each of you!!! as always Pat

I love this image!!!!!!! What you say is so true I totally agree w/you (this is coming from someone who has been riding & has owned horses for 37 years) You really did an excellent job here!!!! You're very talented!!

OMG pat this is so beautiful,wish I had some of your talent just alittle I would be a happy camper,I love horses to they're so smooth looking when they run ,like you'd never imagine thier weight they're one in a million and so is your art bravo vote
