Greetings and welcome to my little corner of Renderosity. I am a hobby artist with dreams of being better and someday being published. I have loved art and for as long as I could remember but it wasn’t until I found digital media that I truly fell in love. I received my Associates degree in Information Technology, Applied Science (graphics design), Primarily worked with 3d Max during my tenure. Found Poser 4 was my first program that I felt comfortable using and as of recent, have been learning Vue 8.
Being a single father takes up most of my time so I have been slacking on my artwork as of late. Just changed times that I work though so should be able to do a little more and get a few more things uploaded soon.
Hope everyone has a blessed and beautiful year. Thank you all so much for the kind words and compliments / advise on my work.

Gorgeous scene, only two minor gripes. First is the terrain map for the big rocky tube has a bit of artifacts floating in midair around it. That can be cleaned up easily. Also, there's noticeable JPEG fuzz from compression around several of the edges on the dragons, saving with less compression should help that out.

moongoat, not sure what "tube" you are refering to.... I do have a cloud plane that does intersect the ground plane...or are you talking about the smaller hills that suround the mountain?...as far as the jpeg blur i cant see it but im also on a computer at school and these are little lousy monitors...

These dragons are awesome!

Much, much better! I really like the fire and the posing-work... As for .jpg compression, your image is 265K. Try exporting it closer to the 500K limit, say 400 or so, and it will be cleaner. Still, a good scene and I like the changes! I don't even mind the "floaters" from your terrain, they look natural and cool enough...

The original angle seemed more effective, but still this one ended up to be the more successful of the two. Great job!!

Very well done. The pose of both of em is quite owesome, the terrain work is nice, could be a little more effective perhaps, but is a very well composed scenery.

posing is much better, except for the wings :) i still cannot believe they are even able to fly, much less battle when the right wing is backward for the effect implied. the terrain, while much better the water isnt. water at that hight wouldn't appear so rough. as for the clouds, i would try something different than a plane. maybe another terrain or something, because the clouds here seem to lack volume (which they almost always have plenty of when going over mountains ((you are implieing mountains by having clouds lower than the peaks of the terrain). clouds tend to roll over mountains, not go straight through them. think of a blanket draping over something and you would have it. in this though, the easier thing might be just to bring the clouds above the terrain completely, while maybe creating a haze (not sure if its possible given that i dont know your alignment of objects too well in this scene) to give a misty/fog effect going into the valleys. hope that bit helps :)

thank you all greatly for the comments and ideas. I am using this as a bit of a learning experience for myself IE Teaching myself to look at things a little differently. *IE using different medians for the clouds...and I am going to try the fog effect to see how it looks. Going to see about posing the wing just a little different. I was going for the effect of spinning in air and the wind forcing the wing backwards....stay tuned for a repost of this one oh, and let me know who you think should win, it will determine what the next picture looks like thank you greatly all for the awesome input. it is helping me TONS!
