Thanks for viewing !! :o) -- The first of a series of images taken around the buttercups, this time the visitor is a Striped Hoverfly (Helophilus pendulus) like the ones in "Sexy Hovers". Nice detail.. and hard choosing a dof huh? Either the bug is completely sharp and the background distracting, or the background is nice adn smooth but the bug missses dof :( That's always a problem and you found a great compromise here.

Very nice! I went for a walk yesterday in hopes of some shooting but our insects still are not out yet much I guess due to the cold snap we had. I am anxous to get some good shots! VOTE by the way!
