Description

- King (or is it Queen) of the butterflies - When talking about butterflies, this is the most incredible species I've ever seen in my entire life. Don't know which 'brand', but I know the size: 20 - 25 centimeters (approx. 9 inches). Since this one sat right in front of the entrance, you maybe can imagine that it caused a 'traffic jam'. Everybody wanted to take a picture.... So I have to agree with (some of) the ladies: SIZE DOES MATTER! (Lol) Enjoy!

It's not a butterfly....... its a moth.......... a very simple way to distinguish a butterfly from a moth is to check it's antenna...... those with rounded tips are butterflys.....and those with just the straw are moths. This one in particular opens upto 25 cms...... and it is known as Snakewing moth (locally). You are lucky to have captured this beauty, I have never come across this as yet.:O))
