Description

I've never done a self-portrait before.It's not easy!Just was trying to do something for the May challenge,'Reflections/Refractions'.What do you think? Any suggestions? Also, I want to thank those of you that took the trouble to comment on my recent upload in the 2D gallery,"A Study of Degas" Your support and encouragement means so much to me! Thanks for looking and have a great day!!!!!!!!

I know.. a self portrait is not easy at all..I think you've done a great job here. Very creative and I think you did wise to use B&W.. This makes the picture more sofisticated I think.

OH MY GOD!!!! I know im suppose to be on a break from RR and not be commenting, but i have to say that this portrait RULES!!!!!!!!!!!! What a cool looking photo!!!!!! Wonderful concept, gives a great feel to your portrait havin the car in it as well, I like the way you have grained it, also gives a little evil eye feel, unoque and lovly. perfect for the comp. V Lina

Marlene, i'm sooooo glad you posted this here!!! First of all, i wanna congratulate you on this shot!!!!!! Suggestions...no way girl! It's PERFECT!!!!!! OMG, Please don't change a thing! What do i think? I think it's BRILLIANT!!!! You are soooooo beautiful and your tuff and nails expression and toning are so powerful together!!!! I see you as sooooo determined, strong, fearless, and independent! You can take on the world. You are successful and sensitive. Your eyes tell me a lot. they're soft and soulful, and you're someone who is always there for your friends. i said this in the forum and i wanna say it here. this is DEFINItelY extra special!!! it reminds me of that movie "Thelma & Louise!"
