Description
Two desperate and lonely creatures find temporary comfort in each others company.
There are over 80,000 dogs, 70,000 cats, 500 horses and many other animals who have been rescued in this country and looking for a loving home. Maybe you or someone you know can offer a good home or a place to stay until a good home can be found. Others animals need help in order to be able to get the medical assistance they need to even have a chance at life.

Wonderful image! I'd love to rescue everybody, but my little 600sqft house is full: five dogs, seven cats, and six parakeets...oh, there might be a rescued human or two, as well! :)

Dear Susan, I am so sorry and so ashamed I am this far behind on visiting friends galleries. I have been so swamped with everything. The get well card slowed me down a lot. I have answered over 5000 IMs. Im so proud of our community! So many wonderful caring people! But it has left me terribly far behind on everything. Ive got 1500 e-bot notices Im trying to work through. Im going to visit all the current ones as quickly as possible and then work on the backlog as time permits. It will take me a while, but I will eventually catch up and will in time visit everyones postings. Until I can get caught up, Im gonna spend my gallery visiting time looking and enjoying and try not to type as much as I usually do. I hope everyone understands that I am running as fast as I can. This is so touching! I hope that the two new friends find some comfort with each other. The plight of all those animals just breaks my heart!! Excellent work!! Hope things slow down a bit for both of us!!! Love, Meredith
