Description

Two reasons for that - if it needs reasons to do images. #1 i wanted to continue the color series i started #2 i wanted to do a black&white image without postwork. And without cheating by using render options or filters - if possible. And it looks like that it is possible. Ok, very simple in fact. All materials in the scene are modified to black and white - only the color ones are untouched. Who is who here? The guy is RDNA Merlin, dressed with RT Native American clothes; Macaw is from Noggin (DAZ); nest is free from DAZ (i think); the church ruin is from Helmut Schaub and free at Planit3D; the procedural materials are from BountyfulKnight (grayed out by me); terrain is from Monsoon's Earthenware package at 3DCommune; atmosphere is Filip_Stamate. The rest is me, my Mac with Infinite and no postwork. Zack!

The color contrasts nicely with the gray background. Excellent terrain texture blend. I agree with Ken, it is a strange place.

Oh, noooooo! Puhleeeeeese don't tell me that we need reasons for our images now! Egads!! From the size of this nest, this guy better hope that Mommy and Daddy bird don't return too soon '-)! Great return to your "color series", Walther!

Very clever work and concept, my friend. Thanks to you and this image, a little spark has flashed in my head for an image that may or may not work using your cleaver use of textures. Keep it up and thank you:)
