Meredith, I would not worry about posting comments & visiting galleries. You need to concetrate on yourself. We enjoy what you do immensly & would hate for you to "pull the plug" People here @ Rend are good people & I am sure they understand the magnitude of your involvement. Therefore I am sure no one hold anything bad towards you. You are 1, not 100 "digitals". So just do the best you can & enjoy the more important things... Life itself!

I don't ever just "delete all"...It is rather simple...delete all but one of every artist. Goto each artists image and once you're done looking at the image, just browse their gallery to see what's been new. At least it'll clear out some of that "in" box. Just a simi-helpful tip.

Dearest Meredith, I completely understand your circumstances and I personally wish for you to focus on your life, your true priorities, and especially your health! I must say, I'm not home tonight and I checked my mail; I think everyone who owns Poser posted an image tonight! I'll be spending my entire evening commenting, as always, and I can relate! Maybe get everyone to post once a week would help! lol! I face the same problem as my work is pulling me away from creating anything. And you are an artist, Meredith; you are a technical genius with a detailed explantion for everything! I just push buttons and spin dials! Don't feel guilty, you come first, Meredith. Take care of your priorities and yourself, we will always be here! You have done more for the community than you could ever imagine, and I think a little rest would be a great reward to start! Poser and this site are very addicting and can become destructive over time if you ignore the real world. I wish you the best in what you decide, but youreally should take a rest, Meredith! Nobody here wants you ill or without a nice job! Take care of yourself and don't worry about us, please!!! Big Hugz

Even the greatest person on earth can only carry so much, those who think would know a cry for help and let you rest. Even a living saint thinks of themselves once and a while, so sit back and rest knowing you need it. there is life outside of the net and its worth seeing, tack time and go there. Be well

Hon, all you can do is your best. If you can't get to everyone then you can't! I have never held it against anyone if they didn't comment on every image, IMO that would be the height of arrogance! Take care of yourself and do what you can and let God handle the rest! Love ya! :)

Meredith, just stop cold turkey and take a few weeks off. Easier said than do, I know, but taking a month off got my own web addiction under control (at least for now). And don't worry about missing new posts from Favorite Artists. As long as Renderosity exists, the images will be there waiting for your perusal later on. We love you but we'll love you more knowing you're taking care of yourself, even if that means we have to love you from a lot farther away than normal.

Meredith....Something I feel I must say to you. You, My Dear, have been so wonderful and so caring about everyone here. Now do us all the favor of doing for yourself what you have done for others. Sweetie, when I posted my very first image here I never expected any comment at all. I still don't expect them. I like them and feel great when people do comment, but it's never expected. That's not why I do the creating. And any artist worth being called an artist will tell you the same. I have made sporadic comments when I have been able to and have gotten pm's telling me thank you, but to take care of things here at home with Laurie first and not to feel obligated to comment. I will admit tht while I have tried to at least look at each new image, I haven't always left a comment. And those who are friends understand and, I feel, wouldn't have it any different. I post one occasionally to let others know everything is still ok on the home front. So I beg you....delete the ebots and post when you can to let us all know that everything is okay with you still. We all want you to take care of yourself. BTW....Great emotion on that pose. You've captured a very concerned and bewildered expression.

Meredith, I too, try to visit each gallery but I can't always post comments. Sometimes I can't bear to type due to pain in my hands. Please don't try to comment on each and every image in each and every gallery, that is way tooo much!!! We all will understand, we're all just human and we can't always comment either. Take care of yourself first. Here is a big HUG just to cheer you up some.

I recognize the look on your 'model' all too well dear Meredith but your first priority is to yourself and your own personal well being. No one expects you to visit every 'favorite' and leave a comment the minute something is posted and if they do they have less of a grip on reality than I do LOL...as evielouise said, take time to smell the roses, they don't bloom forever and you don't want to miss any of them. hugz

sometimes it is impossible to answer all the comments/im's and so forth especially when you are two finger typist like me. I made a mantel almost identical to that for one of my clients. makes an excellent backdrop. I have some other fotos for you

Take good care of yourself, Meredith, otherwise you can't look after anybody at all. In fact, you should probably even take a day off altogether. Sleep well!

I have to agree with everyone above, especially David Shardz. I too have a heavy work load, 12 hour days and family obligations. I haven't posted in about 3 weeks, feeling burned out too. And I don't have barely a fraction of what you've tried to do. We all have to limit ourselves so never feel guilty about anything. Set your priorities and pace yourself. It this rate, you'll get older than me in half the time..heheh. Also, you are an artist of the highest order and in so many fields, I've stopped counting. You have to be good to yourself first, before you can be good for anyone else. Take a break.. you earned it big time! We'll be here when you get back. (maybe I shouldn't have said that..lol) Blessings and hugs to a wonderful person.. Dave :^)

Like everyone else says, and I mean it too... "Take care of yourself. Don't worry about commenting. It's not like it's expected of you and if you do want to comment on all of those, the pics aren't going anywhere, take your time, but mostly take care of YOU!!!" ^_^

Dear Meredith, your own life and work are more important than anything here! Your "Get Well Card" was the most beautiful thing in my life that has opened my eyes, so now I can see the great spirit connecting all the fabulous people here. I love you ... not only as a great artist you surely are, but as the most wonderful person I have ever met!!!

Dealing with popularity was one concern I had when I first made a web site. That has not proven to be a major problem. Only on Freestuff have I had to curtail my activities as provider after provider has deleted my site for "breach of the ground rules of this provider". I also worried about someone like the Korean Airlines bomber hacking my site. This led to an overly defensive content totally inoffensive in the first instance and succeedingly timidly open in later ones. Here at Renderosity the flood of ebots when I went on vacation and the loss of viewership on return led me to just visit the What's New artists each day and not set up favorites. I also only visit those who have come to my gallery in general avoiding those who think every line of discipline is a "negative" criticism. Some times my comments transparent to the application are like criticizing the pilots when the wheels fail to retract I realize. The steady spectacular impovement in the community is worth the effort. Your work bears me out.

Just hit the damn delete button girl, kill those ebots, and start clean, I think most will understand....this is not worth driving yourself sick over, by all means hit DELETE. I really like Shardz's idea of getting people to post once a week only, I know that would give me more time to create and also spread my comments around to more people......Take care of your self my friend.........John

I was fearing somehing like this would happen. In all human activities, one should remember that people go first. Your health, your family and your job go first. Don't worry about IMs and images. Take your time and, most important, take rest. The images won't move from the galleries (I hope admins don't read this). They will be there no matter how long you take on seeing them. I don't have a job and even I can't see all the images that are uploaded here every day. I don't try to. If people don't understand that you can't be 24 hours a day here, they're not your friends. Now, relax and take a rest and make it longer than 10 minutes!

I think that it's not so important for us to have a personnal answer, you can't visit all the galleries . I didn't wanted to be on the card to have comments on my work. it was to help others. Take care of you and relax. Great character and work.

Meredith, it's as though you have taken the whole world upon yourself all of a sudden! I think there's absolutely no doubt about the impact this venture has made on the Community, and the work this has caused you in repercussion is incredible! Another person could have done something like it and not made much impact at all, so it has to be something more than just that you did it, it has to be YOU as a dynamic person within our community - YOU are a person of many wonderful (and sometimes very naughty) words! This is something for everyone to enjoy! Now please... You really mustn't worry any more about "doing the honorable thing"! You've done it! Now I think you've also said it in your posts in your gallery. So don't worry about hitting delete for the IM's! We just enjoy YOU! OK? Don't deprive us of yourself because of the tyranny of the oughts! Huggies, Nicky.

What you have done usually takes a team of people and you did it single handedly. You are not superwoman and need to get rid of all those im's immediately. We don't want our Meredith to take ill. I hope your card goes into the hall of fame, a noble act indeed. Please take care...........
