Description
The rocks on the south-slopes are the home for many flowers. Back into the forest the vegetation is different again. Concluding our hike these colorful flowers of the shrubby milkwort (Polygala chamaebuxus) attract my attention amidst the fresh green lush of spring. Finding so many flowers makes me feel as if it were summer already!

I know the polygala.. I even have them in my alpine garden, but I never sawa a picture of polygalas growing in the wild. Strange thing.. there are in fact two forms of polygalas on the picture.. the white/yellow and the purple/pink form..
